Bookings are usually available within 48 hours notice. Same day support depends on availability, location and job requirements. Contact our team and we will let you know what is possible.

Onsite weighing using Method 1 is typically completed within minutes per container. Our turnaround is designed to be fast and efficient, helping you avoid operational delays.
Do you weigh caravans?
No. VC Weighing does not weigh caravans. We specialise in mobile container weighing for the shipping, freight and transport industry.
How much does container weighing cost?
Pricing is tiered depending on frequency, volume and location. One-off container weighing within Perth Metro starts from $120 + GST. Contact us for a quote based on your site and container requirements.
What is a Verified Gross Mass declaration?
A Verified Gross Mass declaration confirms the accurate weight of a packed shipping container. It supports SOLAS requirements and helps shipping lines, ports and transport operators manage freight safely. Without a Verified Gross Mass Weight Declaration, the shipping line and terminal will be prohibited by law from loading the container on board a vessel.
Why is accurate container weighing important?
Accurate weight data helps prevent delays, penalties and safety issues caused by incorrect container weights. It also supports safer cargo stowage, vessel stability and compliant transport movement.
How does the booking and payment process work?
Once we receive your completed booking form by email, our administration team will contact you to finalise the booking. After a weighing date is agreed, VC Weighing will send an invoice by email. Payment is due by the date listed on the invoice.
Will I receive a specific booking time?
Bookings are made for a particular day. Specific times are not guaranteed, as onsite work depends on location, access and the day’s schedule.
VC Weighing is always ready to help. Even when we have had last minute containers that need to be weighed to make an export, they find a way to make it work. The process is so much easier having them come to the yard to weigh for VGM’s and have all the export PRA’s completed before transport have even collected the container. They are very professional onsite with our clients and will even check directly if needed to make sure the container is ready to be weighed to avoid extra fees to yourself.
